My Place

T'was in a city where I was born, but there I never found a home.
My heart had known before my past, that in a city I would not last.
Could it be these feet of mine, would find the sand the place they'd pine?
Alas the beach was not the place, for that my forlorn heart would race.
Canopy of trees, shines filtered sun, a breathe of honeysuckle where I run,
T'was a hoosier I'm meant to be, with clay soil beneath my feet.
Just one acre, my little woods. But this place does suit me good.
And here I'll be a hoosier best, and live my life til time to rest.

Flash back from the 70's

Today I did something totally new to me. I made a hula hoop, 3 actually. One for my self...but it's a bit toooo big. One for the boys, just right for them. And then another very small from the left over piping.
I am adding hoopin' to my exericse list. They say it is a great low impact exercise, that can really get that heart pumping. I think it's true cuz when I chase that hoop after it falls, I break out in a sweat! lol
So here are some pics for my first day of hula hooping. When I can get it to actually stay up a bit, I will take a video! lol I wanted a full body shot, cuz hopefully...I will show some weight loss later and wanted before and after pics.
